Lockwood Saws Sharpening Service
All TCT saw blades are sharpened on Vollmer CNC machines to guarantee tooth geometry and the highest quality cutting edge. Any tooth shape can be achieved to meet the high demands of our customers from simple rip saws to the latest state of the art "Pro-Plastic" saw blades.
Investment in a Vollmer Loroch NC1020 allows CNC grinding of HSS & Segmental saw blades with a highly polished finish, this form of wet grinding with a CBN wheel is unique up to 1020mm diameter as competitors can only dry grind these large sizes.
We offer a full TCT & HSS profile grinding service which can be done to a drawing or wood sample. Customers with moulders, spindles and tenoners are catered for with chip limitation tooling as required by the new HSE PUWER 98 regulations which came into force December 2003.
